Terms and Conditions – Mulande Travels

1. Introduction

Welcome to Mulande Travels. By using our website, services, and booking a car rental, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Eligibility for Rental

  • The minimum age for renting a vehicle is 21 years (for regular vehicles) and 25 years (for luxury cars).
  • A valid driving license is required for self-drive rentals. International customers must provide a valid passport and international driving permit (IDP).

3. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Payment must be made in advance via credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, or cash at the time of booking.
  • A security deposit may be required for certain car categories, refundable upon returning the car in good condition.
  • In case of cancellation:
    • More than 24 hours before rental: Full refund minus processing fees.
    • Less than 24 hours before rental: Cancellation fees may apply.

4. Vehicle Usage

  • The rented vehicle must be used within the agreed rental period and mileage limit.
  • Customers are responsible for fuel, tolls, parking charges, and any fines incurred during the rental period.
  • Drunk driving, reckless driving, and off-road usage are strictly prohibited.

5. Damage and Liability

  • The customer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the rented vehicle during the rental period.
  • Insurance covers basic third-party liability, but customers may opt for additional coverage.
  • Any accident must be reported immediately to Mulande Travels and local authorities.

6. Late Returns & Extension Policy

  • Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time and location. Late returns may incur additional charges.
  • Extensions are subject to availability and must be requested at least 2 hours before the scheduled return time.

7. Chauffeur-Driven Car Rentals

  • Chauffeurs provided by Mulande Travels are trained and experienced.
  • Customers must respect the chauffeur's duty hours and provide breaks during long journeys.
  • Any misconduct towards chauffeurs will result in service termination without a refund.

8. Termination of Service

Mulande Travels reserves the right to cancel or refuse a booking in case of policy violations, misuse of the vehicle, or any illegal activities.

9. Limitation of Liability

Mulande Travels is not liable for delays, breakdowns, unforeseen circumstances, or any indirect damages arising from the use of our services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Mumbai.
